New Visions Professional Development Corporation is committed to providing programs that provide a holistic (mind, body, and spirit) approach in the advancement of youth, adults, businesses and the community at large. We do this by providing the following programs:
Sister 4 Sister
Empowers girls and women in self-awareness and self-appreciation, by providing workshops, lectures and programs as tools to build self esteem and becoming self-sufficient.
Naturally High
A youth program to aid in the prevention of drug and alcohol abuse. The program targets grades pre-k through 12. We use preventive mechanisms by providing enrichment programs through the performance, visual and literary arts. Young people also serve as role models and speak to groups of students in reference to HIV/AIDS awareness.
Brother 4 Brother
Provides an enrichment program for inner city young men between the ages of 12-18 to aid in the prevention of negative activities including gang activity and/or entering into the prison system. We provide positive motivational, interactive workshops, lectures and programs as tools to build self esteem and becoming self-sufficient.
Life and Professional Coaching
Life Coaching is a profession that is profoundly different from consulting, mentoring, advice, therapy, or counseling. The coaching process addresses specific personal projects, business successes, general conditions and transitions in the client's personal life, relationships or profession by examining what is going on right now, discovering what your obstacles or challenges might be, and choosing a course of action to make your life be what you want it to be.
NVPD presents Business Building 101. This 16 hour class provides the steps in creating and launching a successful business endeavor.
The objective is to assist participants in identifying their own individual business goals, and providing all the tools, techniques, resources and best practices needed for the successful launch and on going operation of a business.
